7. RACE: RED BULL RING - 10.04.2022

Before race, i gave desire in steam for one guy to whatch my translation (he asks). I had steam message with request, in right bottom corner, overlays on game. Could it make some problem? It was right before race. What is it - that translation? I set that friends can watch my translation. I do not do any translation for reason. i mean i don not press some "translate" button or what. Is it translated automaticly? I know this guy for a time, as i remember hes russian, living in Germany.

No that can not be it. Be sure to have your browser closed during a race though. It might load some stupid advertising movie/image which can cause it. Another thing is that if you alt+tabed to windows it can be steam starts downloading a updating for another game because it thinks its in windows. I never seen it happen though. But in that case you would have it all the time until it was done downloading. And you just only had it for a small time
 
If you mean like Steam Broadcasting this for sure can give lag on your internet. Especially if they start connecting during a race. Steam starts the broadcasting when somebody connects and at that time it also initialises and can give some lag while it's starting (needs to build up a buffer). But this only is if you give people access to it. By default its off.
 
yes i gave access in steam, and right before the race. Stupid. I did it just cos steam window hangs up in my monitor corner, and annoed me. I thought whats wrong if someone will watch it? Im stupid. Any video stream means data transfer. Also, no lags for me was on track. No hangin, video stuck, and i didn noticed problems with other cars. Maybe, cos only Znidaric was who i saw long times. I thought, it was his connection problem.

In your steam library right click Rfactor 2--> Properties--> General and then uncheck "Enable the steam overlay while in-game". it will disable the steam overlay in game. (of course you then also can not chat from steam in the game)

  2. Incident on lap 44 between Gorelov and Žnidarič, it was 100% Gorelov's fault.
    Even Gorelov had internet problem lag, he should let Žnidarič by and he didn't do that.

    DUE TO NOT GIVING PLACE TO ZNIDARIČ BACK, GORELOV WILL BE PUNISHED WITH 15 seconds ADDED TIME.

This is not fair to all others who didnt cut. I am realy sorry I didnt do that. I was writing about this issue before start.. if there isnt in rules you could simply write cut it as mich as you want.. same conditions for all in this case..

Will be in rules by Friday. Then won't be this problems.
 
Q: P12
R: had a mega good start and went from P12 to P7 in one corner. Got a nudge from R.Gali in 2nd lap and lost 3 places. After that I was in a lot of fights because people behind me where faster, but also made more mistakes. Best position at some point was P6. I think M.Zerak now holds the record of overtaking me the most in one race, but still managed to end in front of him :) It was a fun race because I had cars around me all the time and a lot of fair action. Ended up at P9
